Wedding anniversary

For our anniversary we went to San Jose,
California for a few days. While we were there,
we drove down Hwy 101 to the Hearst Castle.
The tour of the Castle was amazing!

My Second Marathon

So I finished the Portland Marathon in just under 5 hrs! I had to walk the last 6mi because of an injury. I went to see the doc on Tuesday and he put my leg in a soft cast:) I will find out next Tuesday what the plan is. I am praying for healing and patience. It's been a challenge to stay down and figure out what I can do that doesn't hurt.

Helvetia Half in 2 hrs

As a way to update family and friends.. I thought blogging would be handy! This way we can share what we're doing along with photos.
The Hood to Coast relay was 2 weekends ago- it was a blast! It was a challenge to run the 3 legs with little sleep. Matt was one of our volunteers! We ended at the beach, stayed the night with the team at a great beach house. Hope to do it again next year! Now on to the Portland Marathon.. only 3 weeks away.

Tomorrow Matt and I celebrate our 4th year anniversary! Went by fast!

In July, Matt and I visited Nana & Papaw at the Lake. Then traveled to Detroit to visit Aunt Denise & Uncle Ralph.
